PMO Manager – Lead Project Management Office

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to shape and run our Project Management Office. You will partner closely with the CEO, COO and senior leaders to bring structure, transparency and strategic alignment to the company’s most critical cross‑functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a company‑wide project management framework, including standards, tools, templates and ways of working.
• Support executive leadership in prioritising projects against strategy, resources and budgets.
• Track, analyse and report on the overall project portfolio – status, timelines, risks, budgets and resource utilisation.
• Advise and coach teams on project planning, risk mitigation and problem solving.
• Facilitate clear communication between project teams and senior management, preparing updates, reports and presentations for decision‑making.
• Lead selected high‑impact or complex projects that span multiple departments when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field (Master’s/MBA is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management or PMO roles.
• Proven track record of establishing project structures in a cross‑functional environment.
• Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with confidence working with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and German.
