PreSales Engineer – ECAD Integration (m/f/d)

About the role

The PreSales Engineer ECAD will act as a trusted technical advisor for customers across EMEA, helping them evaluate and adopt ECAD‑PLM integration solutions. Working remotely from Germany or other eligible European countries, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Services, and Product teams to shape and deliver compelling technical proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Support and drive ECAD‑related sales opportunities across EMEA.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and technical presentations for customers.
• Translate customer requirements into solution concepts and integration designs.
• Design and deliver demos, proof‑of‑concepts, and technical evaluations.
• Assist in RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and contribute to proposals and Statements of Work.
• Coordinate a small PreSales team to ensure consistent quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Services, and Product Management for smooth hand‑over to delivery.
• Create and maintain reusable demo assets, PoC approaches, and PreSales content.

Required profile

• Customer‑oriented advisor able to build credibility with engineers, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Technically curious, hands‑on, and quick to learn new tools and environments.
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex ECAD‑PLM topics.
• Collaborative team player with proactive, structured mindset.
• Resilient self‑starter comfortable in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven setting.
