Private Equity Analyst – Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Analyst with 1‑2 years of M&A or investment banking experience to join our Infrastructure Investment Team. This position offers a fast‑track entry into buy‑side private equity, working on primary, secondary and co‑investment opportunities across European infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to due diligence, execution and portfolio monitoring.
• Analyse infrastructure funds and direct/co‑investment opportunities across Europe and OECD markets.
• Build and review financial models, including DCF, LBO and project/asset models, and perform return analyses.
• Prepare investment committee materials such as memos, presentations and supporting analysis.
• Contribute to portfolio construction, performance tracking and reporting.
• Assist fundraising and client communication activities.
• Track key sectors including energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities and social infrastructure.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in M&A or investment banking.
• Strong academic background with excellent analytical abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German language proficiency is a plus.

• Valuation analysis.
