Private Equity Associate – Infrastructure Investment

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Associate to join our Infrastructure Investment Team in Munich. The role offers exposure to the full spectrum of private markets investments – primary, secondary and co‑investment – within the infrastructure asset class, supporting a multi‑billion‑euro programme for institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Support the complete investment cycle, from sourcing and due diligence to transaction execution and portfolio monitoring.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of infrastructure fund managers and direct opportunities across Europe and OECD markets.
• Build and maintain financial models, return analyses and scenario cases for primary, secondary and co‑investment transactions.
• Prepare investment committee materials, including memos, presentations and supporting analyses.
• Contribute to portfolio construction, performance monitoring and reporting for diversified infrastructure programmes.
• Assist client communication and fundraising activities for new infrastructure vehicles.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in private markets or investment banking.
• Strong analytical abilities and solid experience in financial modelling.
• Exposure to infrastructure or real assets such as energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities or social infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent academic background in finance, economics, business, engineering or a related field.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, reliable team player with strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
