Private Equity Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

We are partnering with a respected middle‑market private equity firm in Frankfurt. The role offers full exposure to the investment lifecycle, including platform acquisitions, add‑on deals, portfolio management, and exits across the DACH region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and execute new investment opportunities across multiple sectors.
• Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analysis and commercial assessments of target companies.
• Support due‑diligence processes and drive transaction execution.
• Prepare investment committee materials and presentations.
• Collaborate with management teams and portfolio companies to implement value‑creation initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and assist with exit planning.
• Engage with advisors, lenders, management teams and other transaction stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services or a related field.
• Strong academic background.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
