Procurement Agent (Einkaufsmitarbeiter*In)

About the role

The U.S. Mission in Germany is seeking a Procurement Agent to manage the acquisition of complex goods and services. You will work within a dynamic international environment, supporting the German‑American partnership through efficient procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full‑cycle procurement, including solicitations, proposal analysis, and price negotiations.
• Draft and review specific contract language for approval and signature.
• Procure supplies, equipment, and services from the local market, U.S. Government agencies, GSA, and other U.S. sources.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Required profile

• At least two years of college‑level education with coursework in procurement, contracting, logistics, public administration, or business administration.
• Relevant work experience in procurement, contracting, logistics, or business administration.
