Procurement Contract Expert – Cabin Perimeter

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Procurement Contract Expert to support the Cabin perimeter within its Commercial Aircraft division in Hamburg. You will work in the PYCS Department, a cross‑functional team of contract experts, providing contractual expertise throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contractual support and negotiation expertise to buyers and commodity managers during supplier negotiations.
• Influence business and sourcing models and define contractual strategies for key Airbus projects.
• Draft, review, and validate contractual documents prior to signature.
• Negotiate collaboration, partnership, design‑build, and build‑to‑print contracts covering development, supply, and after‑sales support.
• Manage lifecycle contractual compliance, risk analysis, and mitigation actions.
• Assist in dispute and claim management, clarifying contractual positions and supporting contract amendments.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of procurement and contract law, preferably in the aerospace sector.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, legal, and business teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify contractual risks and propose mitigation.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
