Procurement Contract Expert – Cabin perimeter

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Procurement Contract Expert for the cabin perimeter within its Commercial Aircraft division in Hamburg. The role supports the PYCS department, providing contractual expertise to buyers and commodity managers across European programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contractual support and negotiation assistance during direct supplier negotiations and back‑office activities.
• Influence business and sourcing model definitions and develop contractual strategies for key Airbus projects.
• Draft, review and validate ad‑hoc contractual documents and ensure proper approval before signature.
• Negotiate collaboration, partnership, design‑and‑build, and build‑to‑print contracts covering development, supply and after‑sales phases.
• Deliver lifecycle contractual expertise, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Airbus requirements while identifying and mitigating contractual risks.
• Manage disputes and claims by clarifying contractual positions and providing expert guidance.

Required profile

• Strong interest in negotiations and contractual matters within the aerospace industry.
• Ability to work in a cross‑functional, multinational team of contract experts.
• Willingness to step out of the comfort zone and influence Airbus procurement contracts.
