Procurement Specialist – Europe (m/f/d)

About the role

J&T Express is expanding its European procurement function and seeks a proactive Procurement Specialist to support sourcing and supplier management across Germany and the wider region. You will work closely with local teams and headquarters to ensure efficient procurement of services, materials, and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for services (transportation, warehousing, staffing, consulting), materials, equipment, and warehouse‑related projects.
• Develop and apply procurement processes, templates, policies, and governance structures for the European organization.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local suppliers and service providers.
• Manage RFQ processes, price comparisons, tendering, purchase orders, and delivery follow‑up.
• Coordinate contract administration, invoice reconciliation, and payment compliance.
• Support the creation of tender strategies, framework agreements, and procurement initiatives.
• Resolve procurement issues such as delivery delays, supplier performance, and quality concerns.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones to procurement leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing or operations is advantageous; motivated graduates are welcome.
• Familiarity with European business practices, supplier management, and basic contract principles.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on working style.
• German and English language proficiency required; basic Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Europe on short‑term assignments.
