Product Engineer

About the role

This is a foundational product engineering position on a small, high‑caliber founding team building an AI‑powered platform for private market operations. You will lead the design and development of the core interface through which operations teams interact with AI agents, ensuring automated outputs are trustworthy and easy to act on.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the product's design system and UX patterns for complex, workflow‑driven applications.
• Build product interfaces that connect users to AI agents and various data sources.
• Create human‑in‑the‑loop flows for reviewing, approving, and acting on AI agent outputs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and continuously refine product features.

Required profile

• 1 to 7 years of professional frontend engineering experience with strong product intuition.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Hands‑on experience developing or evolving design systems for complex applications.
• Track record building workflow‑driven interfaces that involve human review or approval flows.
• Practical experience with AI, ML, or LLM products and designing trustworthy presentation of automated outputs.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Berlin.

What we offer

• Salary range: 70,000 – 110,000 EUR annually.
