Product & Technology Communications Manager

About the role

Cohere is building cutting‑edge foundation AI models and end‑to‑end products for enterprises. The Product & Technology Communications Manager will shape the narrative that explains Cohere’s technical innovations to both technical and non‑technical audiences, helping the company position itself as a leader in enterprise AI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute product and technology communications strategies aligned with business goals and product road‑maps.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, and modeling leaders to craft clear messaging, narratives, and supporting materials.
• Lead communications for product launches, including messaging frameworks, FAQs, press releases, and executive talking points.
• Translate complex technical concepts into compelling content for customers, partners, analysts, and media.
• Collaborate with corporate communications to drive proactive storytelling that highlights Cohere’s technical leadership.
• Work closely with marketing to ensure consistent messaging across channels.

• Strong ability to distill technically complex ideas into clear, mainstream messages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and research teams.
