Production Manager – Assembly Operations

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Production Manager to lead a 10‑person assembly team in a fast‑growing life‑sciences manufacturing environment in Munich. You will own production performance, drive lean transformation, and shape the way the shop floor operates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a 10‑person assembly team, supported by process engineers.
• Own production KPIs such as output, productivity and quality.
• Implement lean manufacturing initiatives including standard work, flow optimisation and production cells.
• Stabilise and continuously improve assembly processes.
• Manage material flow and logistics for production.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
• Hands‑on experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Background in assembly environments such as electronics, precision or medical devices.
• Strong presence and ability to lead from the front.
• Fluent German and comfortable working in a German‑speaking setting.
