Production Scheduler – Smart Buildings & Electrification

About the role

As a Production Scheduler at ABB you will support the Smart Buildings, Electrification, Enclosures and Distribution Business Area. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production plans that maximise resource utilisation and ensure on‑time delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate detailed production plans, release manufacturing work orders and define operation sequences to meet shipment dates.
• Execute daily material requirement planning in collaboration with the SCM team, monitoring stock levels and ensuring availability.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy regarding sourcing rules, supplier lead times, safety stock and minimum order quantities.
• Monitor production and supply performance, identify root causes of deviations and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, production or supply chain, preferably in production scheduling.
• Strong analytical mindset with a collaborative, solution‑focused approach.
• Fluent in German and good command of English, both written and spoken.
