Product/System Architect – Automotive Ultrasonic Sensing

About the role

As a Product / System Architect for Automotive Ultrasonic Ranging, you will shape the next generation of semiconductor solutions for ultrasonic sensing and near‑field perception in next‑generation vehicles. Working closely with leading automotive OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and our R&D teams, you will translate customer, market and technology requirements into innovative system architectures and product concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Define system and product requirements for next‑generation automotive ultrasonic sensing solutions.
• Act as the technical interface between automotive OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and Elmos R&D teams.
• Develop system architectures and application concepts and translate them into requirements for future semiconductor products.
• Monitor and analyze market, technology and competitor trends and derive implications for future products.
• Present technical solutions to customers, partners and internal stakeholders and build strong relationships worldwide.

Required profile

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in development or product management within the semiconductor industry or automotive electronics.
• Very good knowledge of analog, digital and mixed‑signal circuit design.
• Experience in microcontroller programming and hardware PCB design.
• Willingness to travel and strong command of German and English.
