Professorship in Business Administration (Campus)

About the role

IU International University seeks a dynamic professor to join its Business Administration degree program on the Berlin campus for the winter term 2026/27. The position is limited to two years, starting on 1 October 2026, and can be full‑time or part‑time. You will play a central role in delivering practice‑oriented education and advancing research within the faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate face‑to‑face lectures in Business Administration.
• Supervise students during examinations and thesis work, providing individualized guidance.
• Contribute to the development of innovative teaching formats aligned with IU’s didactic concept.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curricula and research activities.
• Engage in scholarly research and disseminate findings through publications or projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration or a related field with outstanding academic performance.
• Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Business Administration or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum five years of professional experience, including at least three years outside academia.
• Demonstrated expertise through publications or project work.
• Team‑oriented, reliable, and committed to in‑person teaching while proficient in virtual lecture delivery.
• Permanent residence in Germany.
• English language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR).
