Project Director – Data Centres (Frankfurt, Germany)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale data centre projects in Germany. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, profitability, and client satisfaction across complex, mission‑critical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of major data centre construction projects from pre‑construction to handover.
• Provide strategic direction, manage budgets, variations, final accounts and extensions of time.
• Oversee project planning, controls, programme management and value engineering.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Champion health, safety and quality standards throughout the project.
• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration across internal departments and supply‑chain partners.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager on large‑scale construction programmes.
• Proven track record delivering data centres, mission‑critical, pharmaceutical or similarly complex projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
