Project Engineer – Civil Works

About the role

MERMEC Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Project Engineer – Civil Works to lead and coordinate civil engineering activities for railway infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring that civil works packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage civil works activities within railway infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to the planning, execution and delivery of civil engineering work packages across all relevant project phases.
• Act as a key technical interface between project management, engineering, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Review and assess technical documentation, drawings and specifications related to civil works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with project milestones, quality standards and budget requirements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in civil engineering projects, particularly railway infrastructure.
