Project Engineer – Fire Suppression Systems

About the role

Marioff, a global leader in high‑pressure water mist fire protection, is expanding its German team. We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the delivery of HI‑FOG fire suppression systems to customers in Berlin and beyond. The role combines technical oversight, coordination with construction partners, and on‑site implementation to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Verify system and plant design parameters and prepare measurement documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and internal teams to ensure correct installation of fire‑suppression equipment.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with German construction contract procedures (VOB) and relevant fire‑protection standards.
• Support ISO certification activities and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in construction‑related engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, or a qualified technician/master craftsman education in piping, heating or plumbing.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail and the capacity to multitask.
• Willingness to travel and a valid Category B driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using CAD software for design and documentation.
