Project Engineer – Power Cable Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead the planning and execution of power cable system installations at our Düsseldorf office. The role combines electrical, mechanical and structural engineering tasks with on‑site coordination and quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Plan electrical, mechanical and structural aspects of power cable installations, including cable pulling, connection and testing.
• Prepare technical documentation and detailed CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and stakeholders on technical queries.
• Schedule and supervise on‑site installation activities.
• Monitor installation work, oversee testing, and ensure quality assurance.
• Document on‑site activities and report progress to the Project Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure engineering experience, specifically with power cable systems.
• Business‑level fluency in German (C1) and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently for on‑site work.
• Right to work in Germany without visa support.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Proficiency with QGIS.
