Project Engineering Manager – Renewable Energy (PV & BESS)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing renewable energy developer seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the electrical infrastructure for PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. Based in Hamburg with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Germany, you will join a young, dynamic team focused on delivering high‑quality, innovative energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage electrical infrastructure that connects PV projects to the grid.
• Oversee cable works and grid‑connection activities.
• Coordinate and communicate with grid operators to ensure timely approvals.
• Support PV engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to overall project planning and management for renewable energy developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in PV, BESS, or other renewable‑energy projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and grid‑connection processes.
• Ability to handle multiple engineering and project‑related responsibilities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Minimum C1 level German language proficiency.
