Project Manager – Defence & ILS Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead defence and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) projects for our Kiel office. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure successful delivery of complex engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and monitor quotations, project plans and internal orders.
• Conduct opportunity, risk and resource assessments and coordinate with specialist departments.
• Maintain stakeholder analyses, system profiles, access rights, project manuals and overviews.
• Perform project controlling, monthly cost‑to‑completion calculations and monitor hour usage.
• Organise project kick‑off, review and completion meetings, and prepare related reports.
• Manage work orders, correspondence with internal/external specialists, subcontractors and clients, and verify delivery notes.

Required profile

• Degree or vocational qualification with further training as a technician in mechanical or electrical engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Professional experience in project management, preferably in defence or ILS environments.
• Fluent English (EFSET C1) and German (C1 or native) for handling documentation and communication.
