Project Manager, Delivery Consultant – German‑Speaking

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors & Consulting Services team is seeking a bilingual Project Manager / Delivery Consultant to lead complex, high‑value projects for clients across payments, banking and retail sectors. The role involves coordinating project teams, managing risks and delivering measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage deliverable development and workstreams on multiple large, complex projects across various industries and cultures.
• Apply accredited project and change management methodologies to drive measurable client value.
• Define scope, timelines and budgets, and conduct cost, benefit and risk analyses.
• Report on issues, risks, progress and timelines, providing analysis, options and solutions.
• Maintain working relationships with client managers, acting as a trusted partner.
• Lead team and external meetings, mentor junior consultants and contribute to Mastercard’s intellectual capital.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of project management experience, preferably in financial institutions, payments or consulting.
• Proven experience managing client and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Fluent in English and German, eligible to work in Germany and willing to travel to client sites.
