Project Manager – Development & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a defined sub‑project within a large‑scale development in Hamburg. The role blends technical and commercial responsibilities and requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development and delivery of a designated sub‑project from planning through execution.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and contractual aspects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, quality standards, and risk factors.
• Lead coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Support procurement and tender processes and oversee contract administration.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, and deliverables for accuracy.
• Prepare project reports, cost forecasts, and updates for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and project objectives.
• Serve as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate or a related technical field.
• Solid technical background or formal technical training.
• Additional business qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, development or construction management.
• Strong understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of development projects.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
