Project Manager – Geosynthetics Construction

About the role

The Project Manager is the technical specialist responsible for processing, consulting and applying geosynthetics in the construction sector. Working within the DACH region team, you will support the Head of Installation Department or the Commercial Director DACH and act as a key liaison between clients, planners and construction crews.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and control work processes for the Installation Crew on construction sites.
• Provide technical consulting to builders, planners and construction companies.
• Manage commercial and technical aspects of projects, including work preparation, scheduling of personnel, materials and equipment.
• Maintain client contact at the Project Manager level and support sales with calculations and quotations.
• Handle addendum management, quantity determination, calculation and negotiations.
• Collaborate with international colleagues and partners to develop new solutions and products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering.
• Practical construction experience and familiarity with the German VOB contract procedures.
• Ability to build long‑term customer relationships and work independently.
• Strong team orientation and leadership of the Installation Crew and assistants.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide for site visits.
• Fluent German and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
