Project Manager – RE&D Technology (Legal Sector)

About the role

Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead technology workstreams for office build‑outs, relocations and workplace modernization across the EMEA region. The role combines real‑estate coordination with IT delivery, ensuring that new and refurbished spaces are fully equipped and ready for operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technology delivery for office construction, refurbishment and relocation projects across EMEA.
• Coordinate AV systems, network infrastructure, cabling and server‑room environments.
• Align technology timelines with construction and design schedules to guarantee readiness for office openings.
• Collaborate with real‑estate, design, construction and internal IT teams.
• Manage third‑party vendors responsible for AV, cabling and infrastructure.
• Track project timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure compliance with global standards and operational requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, reporting and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and technology readiness for new and refurbished spaces.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering technology or infrastructure projects in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of workplace technology, including AV, network and office IT environments.
• Experience with office build‑outs, relocations or workplace modernization projects.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent project planning, risk management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in structured PMO environments; PMP or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in German and English.
