QA Engineer – Firmware & Mobile Testing (5‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer specialized in firmware and mobile testing to join our AI‑headphone team for a 5‑month project. The role can be performed remotely or from our Munich office and focuses on validating early‑stage hardware and software integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Define comprehensive test plans aligned with the QA validation & verification strategy.
• Create test schedules and detailed test cases covering requirements, UX specifications and relevant standards.
• Execute manual functional and regression tests on development boards, Bluetooth‑enabled devices and mobile applications.
• Reproduce reported bugs and misbehaviours to assist developers in root‑cause analysis.
• Leverage AI‑based tooling, including Anthropics Claude Code, to accelerate testing activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QA role.
• Strong hardware affinity and hands‑on experience with early‑stage firmware, battery‑driven and Bluetooth devices.
• Proven ability to validate firmware‑app integration and understand UX specifications and industry standards.
• Experience working in agile environments using Jira and Kanban.
• Methodical mindset focused on delivering the highest product quality.
