Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer – Civil Telecom Projects

About the role

We are seeking experienced Civil QA/QC Engineers to support telecommunications infrastructure projects for a leading hyperscaler across Germany. The role is field‑based, requiring daily travel to construction sites in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Hamburg to perform independent quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications, health & safety standards, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site quality inspections of civil works such as site preparation, trenching, duct installation, chambers, and reinstatement.
• Monitor construction progress and verify activities against the project schedule.
• Record exact locations of works and align them with GIS documentation.
• Capture photographic evidence and maintain comprehensive inspection records for audits.
• Identify and report defects, non‑conformances, or safety concerns to stakeholders.
• Perform Health & Safety observations and escalate unsafe practices.
• Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and local authorities to resolve issues.
• Produce daily inspection reports covering progress, quality observations, and completed works.

Required profile

• Proven experience in QA/QC, site inspection, or civil engineering on telecom or infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel daily to multiple sites within the assigned region.
• Full driving licence preferred.
