Quality Assurance Specialist – ISO & Process Improvement

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System. The role ensures compliance with ISO standards, drives process optimisation and contributes to a culture of quality excellence across production.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with organisational and ISO requirements.
• Develop and maintain control plans to guarantee product and process quality throughout the production lifecycle.
• Coordinate issue‑management activities, including root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Support ISO compliance by preparing documentation, assisting certification activities and participating in internal and external audits.
• Design and execute quality inspection processes, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed quality standards in daily operations and projects.
• Create, update and manage quality documentation such as procedures, work instructions and audit records.
• Analyse quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and recommend preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality‑focused role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100 standards and experience supporting compliance activities.
• Hands‑on experience with control planning, issue management and inspection system set‑up.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and structured problem‑solving approach.
• Fluent in English and German.
