Quality Manager

About the role

As a Quality Manager you will report directly to senior management and be responsible for the quality management system at our manufacturing site in Northern Germany. You will ensure compliance with DIN EN 9100, drive continuous improvement, and act as the main liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and maintain the quality management system in line with DIN EN 9100.
• Develop, document and continuously improve the quality manual and related procedures.
• Prepare for, conduct and support internal and external audits.
• Investigate non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and develop a small team of quality professionals.
• Report annually on the effectiveness and compliance of the QM system to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified technician or master craftsman in electrical, aerospace or aviation engineering, or equivalent technical vocational training.
• Relevant certifications such as Quality Management Representative, Aviation Law, and Internal/External Auditor (DIN EN 9100).
• Several years of hands‑on experience in a quality management leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QM systems, methods and technical documentation.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in DIN EN 9100 quality management standards.
• Auditing (internal and external) and root‑cause analysis.
