Quality Specialist (Pharmacist)

About the role

The Quality Specialist (Pharmacist) will ensure that all pharmaceutical products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy and regulatory compliance. Working within a GMP‑compliant environment, you will support product release, investigate deviations and drive continuous improvement of QC processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve analytical results for raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
• Support GMP‑compliant product release activities and verify laboratory data against specifications.
• Investigate out‑of‑specification (OOS) results and lead CAPA implementation.
• Maintain and improve QC processes, systems and analytical methods.
• Review, update and author SOPs and other quality documentation.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Deliver training and technical guidance to laboratory teams.
• Contribute to QC projects, including system and process improvements.

Required profile

• Pharmacist qualification or equivalent under pharmaceutical regulations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control within a GMP environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, ICH and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Analytical techniques: HPLC, GC, UV/VIS.
• Familiarity with LIMS and laboratory software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Exposure to SAP implementation (preferred).
