R&D Engineer – AI & Computer Vision (Full-time)

About the role

VAARHAFT is a fast‑growing startup focused on authenticating digital media and combating deepfakes. As an R&D Engineer you will drive the research and development of cutting‑edge neural‑network models that protect images, videos, and documents across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the latest research findings and deep‑tech approaches in AI and computer vision.
• Design, test, and implement innovative processes to continuously improve model performance.
• Lead independent research projects and translate results into production‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the technology stays ahead of manipulated media threats.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a highly quantitative field.
• Several years of proven experience developing deep‑learning models and neural‑network architectures for computer vision.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver research projects independently.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and passionate about solving complex technical challenges.

Required skills

• Deep learning model development and neural‑network architecture design.
• Computer vision expertise.
• Proficiency with AI application layers such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude‑Code, Codex, Gemini‑CLI.
• Familiarity with process‑automation frameworks (e.g., N8N, Make) is a plus.
