Reception Class Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Reception Class Teacher to join our bilingual primary school in Erlenbach. The position can be part‑time or full‑time and starts at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. You will work closely with a German class teacher and contribute to a supportive, innovative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a German class teacher and assist twice a week in the afternoon programme until 5:30 pm.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons based on our benchmarked curriculum.
• Apply diverse didactic and methodological approaches in the classroom.
• Create a positive, welcoming learning atmosphere for reception‑age children.
• Organise, implement and supervise various class projects.
• Contribute ideas to improve pedagogical processes.
• Maintain strong communication with parents.

Required profile

• Certified training as an Early Years Educator, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a degree in Social Pedagogy, or a comparable qualification.
• Approachable, caring and passionate about working with children in the reception/kindergarten age group.
• Committed to enabling every child to reach their full potential.
• Interest in developing and implementing innovative, individualized pedagogical concepts.
• Fluent in English and motivated to learn German language and culture.
