Recruiter – Automotive & Engineering

About the role

Valkyrie People Consulting is expanding its European footprint and seeks an experienced Recruiter to lead automotive and engineering talent acquisition across Germany and Europe. The role combines end‑to‑end recruitment, stakeholder management, and pipeline development for a variety of technical functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycles from sourcing to onboarding for automotive, engineering, manufacturing, and related functions.
• Identify and engage passive candidates using headhunting, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals and other sourcing channels.
• Conduct competency‑based interviews, prepare assessment reports, and present shortlists to clients.
• Coordinate client interviews, negotiate offers and maintain candidate engagement throughout the process.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche automotive and engineering skill sets.
• Ensure timely ATS updates, recruitment reporting and achievement of delivery targets.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of experience in recruitment, executive search, talent acquisition or staffing.
• Proven track record hiring for automotive, manufacturing, engineering, industrial or mobility sectors.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently on multiple assignments.
• Fluent English; German is a strong advantage.
