Regional Finance Controller - Europe

About the role

The Regional Finance Controller – Europe is the senior finance leader for the European region, reporting directly to the Regional President. The role provides financial leadership, business partnership, and governance across the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Germany, supporting strategic decision‑making and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner to the President Europe and the European Leadership Team.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and financial performance reviews.
• Provide financial analysis for pricing, customer profitability, investment decisions and operational improvements.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance processes and coordinate external audits.
• Partner with global Tax, Treasury, Accounting and FP&A functions.
• Monitor cash‑flow performance and working‑capital metrics.
• Drive finance process improvement, automation and transformation initiatives.
• Directly manage and develop the Financial Analyst – Europe.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (graduate degree preferred).
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA or equivalent).
• 7+ years progressive finance and accounting experience, including multinational exposure.
• Experience supporting multiple countries and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and local statutory reporting.
• Background in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding or supply‑chain industries is a plus.
