Regional HR Manager, Europe

About the role

Join a fast‑growing global food company as the Regional HR Manager for Europe. You will partner with regional leadership, HQ HR and local stakeholders to align people strategies, policies and HR practices across Germany, Hungary, the UK and other European entities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and align HR governance, policies and core processes across European entities, ensuring consistency with HQ standards.
• Act as a strategic HR partner to Europe leadership, supporting commercial expansion and manufacturing scale‑up plans.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to off‑boarding—across the region.
• Support workforce planning, compensation budgeting, payroll coordination and HR cost management.
• Drive organizational design and workforce planning during growth phases, advising on role clarity and change management.
• Lead regional recruitment strategies for critical roles and manage the onboarding of new leaders.
• Strengthen HR capabilities through coaching, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of local practices.
• Oversee labour compliance and employee relations, advising manufacturing and regional leaders on workplace policies and resolving employee issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR governance, operations and talent management across multiple European countries.
• Strong partnership skills with senior leadership and ability to align HR initiatives with business growth.
• Experience managing workforce planning, compensation budgeting and payroll coordination.
• Knowledge of European labour law and employee relations, with the ability to work with external counsel.
• Ability to drive organizational design and support change management initiatives.
