Regional Sales Director

About the role

This is a strategic leadership position for an experienced international sales professional focused on defense, communications, and government‑focused technology solutions. Based in Europe, you will drive business expansion across the EMEA region, building long‑term partnerships with resellers, military stakeholders, and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• Identify and secure foreign military sales opportunities in networking and communications.
• Lead, mentor, and align regional sales teams with overall business objectives.
• Manage relationships with international resellers, distributors, and strategic partners, overseeing pipeline and forecasting.
• Coordinate regional participation in trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
• Collaborate with internal business development and engineering teams to address market‑entry challenges.
• Travel regularly (up to 50%) to customer and partner sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in government‑related international projects.
• Strong background in foreign military sales, especially networking or wireless communications.
• Proven track record in international sales strategy and regional business expansion.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional or geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and multicultural relationship‑building skills.
