Regional Sales Manager (Capital Equipment)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our capital equipment business across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. You will manage a small team of Sales Engineers, nurture existing customer relationships and drive new business for high‑performance materials testing systems used in automotive, aerospace, biomedical and electronics industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a sales team covering the DACH & Poland territory.
• Sell advanced materials testing and scientific instrumentation solutions to industrial, automotive and academic customers.
• Create and execute territory plans and tailored sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
• Maintain an accurate sales funnel, provide monthly forecasts and achieve business targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling capital equipment or scientific instrumentation, preferably in automotive or industrial sectors.
• Track record of multi‑year sales growth in a field‑based technical environment.
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Materials Science, Automotive or related).
• Strong leadership experience managing small teams.
• Fluent in German and English with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Valid driving licence.

• Technical knowledge of materials testing systems and scientific instrumentation.
