Registered Nurse – Full-Time, Crisis Care (Newark, DE)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive medical, psychiatric and substance‑abuse care for individuals in a crisis setting. Working at the Newark Recovery Center, the RN acts as a clinical liaison, ensuring seamless transition to community services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate services with public and private health, mental health and social agencies.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans and provide individual/family counseling.
• Supervise nursing treatments such as diabetes and blood‑pressure monitoring.
• Respond to crisis calls, perform urgent assessments and interventions.
• Administer medication according to protocol and complete required clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve productivity, efficiency and recovery outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and company regulations.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• Full‑time, non‑exempt availability for shifts 7:00 AM‑7:30 PM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced crisis environment and handle emergency situations.
