Rental Accountant (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Rental Accountant at Comood, you will ensure accurate accounting for a portfolio of owned and third‑party managed properties. You will work closely with Property Management to keep financial records precise and support smooth rental operations.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate and post invoices, rent and deposit receipts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements independently.
• Record and review tenancy agreement provisions and analyse cost apportionments.
• Manage the dunning process and maintain communication with tenants, owners, authorities, service providers and banks.
• Create and maintain master data, oversee rent‑deposit accounts, and monitor compliance with deadlines.

Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree.
• Several years of experience in rent accounting or accounts receivable/payable.
• Strong numeracy, property‑sector knowledge and an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset.
• Independent, structured and team‑oriented work style.
