Research and Development Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Research and Development Engineer to join our global team focused on innovative modified plastics. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to create competitive polymer solutions for automotive, appliance, and electronics applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand customer needs, propose modified plastics solutions, and support early project evaluations.
• Design, develop, and optimize modified plastic formulations for automotive, appliance, and electronics applications, balancing performance, processability, cost, and compliance.
• Conduct material testing, performance evaluation, and failure analysis to validate solutions against customer standards.
• Provide technical support for mold trials, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement for smooth commercialization and stable mass production.
• Coordinate with internal teams (production, quality, supply chain) and external partners to ensure effective communication and on‑time delivery.
