About the role

Kencana is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to join its team in Hamburg. The role focuses on planning and executing retail marketing initiatives that boost brand awareness, foot traffic, and sales for Korean beauty brands across European retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement retail marketing plans aligned with brand objectives.
• Coordinate in‑store promotions, visual merchandising, and point‑of‑sale activities.
• Manage retail campaigns in collaboration with sales and brand teams.
• Monitor performance metrics and analyze consumer and market data.
• Optimize initiatives to strengthen K‑beauty brand positioning in European retail environments.
• Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent brand presence.

Required profile

• Strong market planning and retail marketing expertise.
• Project management experience to coordinate timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
• Sales‑related knowledge to collaborate with sales teams and support sell‑through strategies.
• Brand management skills to maintain consistent brand identity across retail touchpoints.
• Experience in beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG retail environments is highly beneficial.
• Analytical ability to use retail and marketing data for decision‑making.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Ability to work on‑site in Hamburg and thrive in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
