Retail Store Manager – Sales & Operations (On‑Site, Germany)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales and manage high‑performing teams across multiple locations in Germany. The role is on‑site and requires a hands‑on leader who can ensure smooth daily operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth performance
• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail sales team
• Drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual targets
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer issues
• Monitor stock levels, product displays, pricing, and visual merchandising
• Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and brand image
• Manage cash handling, POS systems, reports, and basic administration
• Track KPIs and take action to improve store performance
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and retail procedures

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail sales, shop management, or store management
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Knowledge of retail KPIs, sales targets, and customer service standards
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Hands‑on, proactive, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Fluent in German; English is an advantage
• Flexible to work on‑site, including weekends or peak periods
