Risk Management & Internal Control System Specialist

About the role

Join BASF Agricultural Solutions as a Risk Management System (RMS) and Internal Control System (ICS) Specialist. You will support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of RMS and ICS across the organization, ensuring consistent application of risk and control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain RMS and ICS standards, methodologies and tools.
• Act as the operational contact for assigned processes, ensuring compliance with RMS/ICS requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, design controls, and optimise existing controls.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and guidance materials on RMS and ICS.
• Manage monitoring activities, facilitate review meetings and consolidate risk information for reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Natural Sciences, Law or a comparable field.
• At least three years of professional experience in a risk management or legal department with a methodological focus.
• Experience in regulated industries such as agriculture or chemicals is preferred.
• Fluent German and English communication skills.
