SAP BI Technology Specialist – Munich Area

About the role

Join our international team as a SAP BI Technology Specialist in Germany (d/f/m). In this role you act as the digital focal point and subject‑matter expert for Business Intelligence reporting requirements, driving end‑to‑end solutions focused on business value, user experience, and continuous innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BI solution design and strategy, translating business requirements into digital solutions and contributing to the overall BI roadmap.
• Design, develop and implement high‑quality BI solutions while prioritising user experience and business outcomes.
• Deliver projects on time, on quality and on cost using agile methodologies.
• Ensure seamless integration of new tools and updates, simplifying and consolidating the application landscape.
• Coordinate internal near‑shore and offshore development teams and lead change‑management activities after deployment.
• Provide expert advisory on scoping, deployment, maintenance and evolution of BI information systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence with mandatory expertise in SAP BW and BW/4HANA.
• Hands‑on experience with Business Objects tools (Lumira, Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence) and SAP Analytics Cloud projects.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP and SQL, with additional experience in SAP BDC, Datasphere, Databricks, UI5, Fiori, CDS or ODATA considered beneficial.
• Proven ability to work proactively with stakeholders across the project lifecycle under strict timelines.
• Advanced proficiency in English and good German language skills.
