SAP GTS Consultant – Lead Consultant (Germany)

About the role

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to join its German delivery team. The role is positioned at Lead/Principal level and involves designing, implementing and supporting SAP Global Trade Services solutions for a range of clients across multiple locations in Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate SAP GTS with SAP SD, MM and third‑party middleware platforms.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide strategic guidance on trade‑compliance processes.
• Design, configure and support SAP GTS modules aligned with business needs, including IPR, IBPP and bonded‑warehouse management.
• Integrate SAP GTS with customs authorities using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI or other middleware solutions.
• Participate in Agile project delivery and ensure compliance with regulated system environments.

Required profile

• Significant professional experience in SAP GTS functional consulting.
• Broad industry exposure and solid understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes.
• Proven experience delivering projects in an international, Agile environment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required skills

• SAP GTS configuration and support
• Knowledge of SAP SD and SAP MM modules
• Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI or similar middleware
• IPR (Inward Processing Relief) setup
• IBPP (Import‑Based Preferential Processing) configuration
• Bonded‑warehouse management in SAP GTS
• Customs declaration integration with local authorities
• Agile project delivery methodologies
