SecOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a SecOps Engineer to join our fast‑growing security division in Berlin. The role combines incident response, threat hunting and the implementation of security controls to protect both corporate and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Detect, investigate and respond to security incidents across the organization.
• Manage EDR and SIEM platforms, creating and fine‑tuning detection policies and rules.
• Implement and monitor security measures for corporate and production infrastructure.
• Lead vulnerability management activities and ensure timely remediation.
• Use log ingestion platforms for security analytics, threat hunting and attacker behavior analysis.
• Participate in the on‑call Security Incident Response Team and conduct digital forensics.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and incident reviews.
• Design, evaluate and deploy new security technologies.
• Produce runbooks/playbooks and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong enthusiasm for information security and continuous learning.

• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM solutions (preferably Microsoft Sentinel) and log analysis platforms.
• Knowledge of EDR technologies.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft 365.
• Operating‑system hardening, web‑application and browser security.
• Intrusion detection and monitoring.
• Vulnerability management solutions.
• Secure network design, firewalls, authentication and authorization systems.
• Threat modeling.
• Development of security tools and automation.
