Security & Investigations Specialist – Security & Loss Prevention

About the role

Amazon is seeking a proactive Security & Investigations Specialist to join the Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Business Partner team. In this role you will provide security as a service across operational sites, protect people, and prevent loss throughout the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for assigned sites.
• Identify vulnerabilities such as loss or process gaps and define mitigating actions while ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for risk management with local management, law‑enforcement agencies, and industry associations.
• Ensure sites comply with Amazon’s global security standards.
• Conduct investigations, collect information from monitoring systems, data reports, and security interviews.
• Own security and loss‑prevention projects at local, regional, and country levels.
• Perform regular physical security audits and monitor the health of security systems.
• Collaborate with external security service providers to maintain high‑quality service delivery.
• Deliver loss‑prevention education and awareness programs across all management levels.

Required profile

• Proactive, solution‑oriented professional with experience in security and loss prevention.
• Ability to coordinate risk‑management activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience conducting investigations and working with law‑enforcement agencies.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing data, identifying vulnerabilities, and driving mitigation measures.
• Project‑management capability to lead security initiatives across multiple locations.
