Security Lead Emerging Regions

About the role

Reporting to the Global Security Manager, you will lead physical security for Data4 data centres in emerging regions. The role is critical for implementing global security policies from the start of operations across multiple European sites.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Data4 global security policies and define local procedures for assigned campuses.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose cost‑effective mitigation measures.
• Measure security performance, manage security service providers and report KPIs.
• Coordinate security guard shifts, training and compliance with policies.
• Support security audits and provide evidence as required.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services and authorities on incidents.
• Travel regularly (approximately one trip per month) to assigned locations.
• Hand over security operations as sites reach maturity.

Required profile

• Security‑related studies or at least 5 years managing security for critical infrastructure.
• Legal qualification to perform private security duties in the base country, if required.
• Proven experience with access control, video surveillance and patrolling.

Required skills

• Operation of access control systems.
• Management of video surveillance/CCTV systems.
• Use of intrusion detection technologies.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with the Genetec security suite.
