Senior Accounting Manager – Financial Instruments

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager specialized in financial instruments to join the finance team of Deutsche Telekom Services Europe SE in Bonn. The role ensures accurate and compliant financial reporting under German HGB and IFRS standards and supports the consolidated reporting process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Lead the consolidation of financial results for the group.
• Maintain and improve internal control systems related to accounting of financial instruments.
• Optimize accounting processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Utilize SAP FI/CO and SAP TRM for detailed accounting and analysis of financial instruments.
• Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial accounting, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of German commercial law (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven track record in consolidated financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FI/CO and SAP TRM modules.
• Ability to work independently and improve existing accounting procedures.
