About the role

Rematiq helps healthcare and life‑sciences companies move faster through complex regulatory and quality workflows with AI. As a Senior AI Engineer (Agentic Systems), you’ll own a new technical product area end‑to‑end and build the agentic systems behind it.

Key responsibilities

• Own the system, infrastructure, and agents behind a new product area.
• Build agent‑driven workflows for code writing, reviewing, debugging, and data analysis.
• Design the agent factory, including workflows, skills, guardrails, and escalation paths.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions that shape product quality and revenue impact.
• Create internal tooling and control surfaces to operate the system confidently.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a software engineer in a high‑ownership startup environment.
• Proven track record of owning systems or products end‑to‑end.
• Deep hands‑on experience with agent‑driven development or coding‑agent workflows.
• Strong backend engineering skills with judgment on scalable, reliable systems.
• High agency, strong prioritization, and ability to operate with little structure.
